Woman arrested after man's body found in Navan

A woman in her 30s has been arrested in connection with the death of a man who died in violent circumstances in Co Meath.

The man, who was in his 40s and a foreign national, was found in a house on Academy Street in Navan yesterday.

The body has since been removed, while the Office of the State Pathologist and local coroner have been notified.

A woman in her thirties arrested in connection with his death is still detained at Kells Garda Station.

She is said to have known the dead man.
