A woman who had been arrested in connection with the fatal stabbing of a man in his late 30s early yesterday morning in Ballyfermot in Dublin has been released without charge.
The woman, aged in her late 40s, was released this evening, and a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Gardaí are continuing their investigation into the incident, which happened at a flat at Claddagh Court around 2.30am on Tuesday morning.
The man, who was found with an apparent stab wound, was treated at the scene, but was pronounced dead a short time later.
Claddagh Court is a housing complex for older people and run by Dublin City Council, with 32 apartments, accommodating people aged over 55.
