A man has been taken to hospital following a shooting in Dundalk, Co Louth last night.
The incident happened at around 8.10pm in the Woodbury Gardens areas of the town.
The man was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
No arrests have been made at this time.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this incident to come forward.
They said any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the Woodbury Gardens area of Dundalk between 7:30pm and 8:30pm on Saturday are asked to make this footage available to Gardaí.
