Motorcyclist dies in crash at Kells Road Races

A motorcyclist in his 20s has been killed in a crash during the Kells Road Races.

Gardaí and emergency services attended the incident at a closed racing circuit in Crossakiel, Co Meath, this afternoon.

The man aged in his early 20s was pronounced dead at the scene and his body removed to Our Lady's Hospital, Navan.

The crash happened at around 1.30pm.

Kells Road Races promoter North Meath Road Race Ltd declined to comment on the matter.
