Gardaí have seized €1.75 million of cocaine and arrested a man following an operation in Clondalkin in Dublin.
In a statement, gardaí said they stopped and searched a vehicle on St Cuthberts Road around 5.30pm yesterday.
25kg of cocaine was found during the search.
The suspected drugs will now be sent to Forensic Science Ireland for analysis.
A man in his 30s has been arrested in relation to this incident and is currently detained at Clondalkin Garda Station.
He can be held for up to a period of seven days.
Investigations into the incident - carried out by gardaí involved in Operation Tara - are ongoing.
