One man has died and three other people injured in a single-vehicle road crash in Co Tipperary in the early hours of this morning.
A man in his 20s, the driver of the car, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which happened at around 12.45am, at Greenane, in Tipperary town.
Two women and a man, all aged in their 20s, were taken to University Hospital Limerick to be treated for their injuries, which are understood to be non-life threatening.
The road is currently closed to allow for a technical examination to take place by Forensic Collision Investigators. Local diversions are in place.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this crash to contact them. Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the area at the time are asked to make this footage available to investigating gardaí.
