A woman in her 20s has died in a single-vehicle crash in Co Mayo.
Gardaí say they responded to reports of a crash on the L5243 at Knocknalower in Co Mayo at about 11.15pm yesterday.
A car is understood to have hit a wall.
The women was taken to Mayo University Hospital to be treated for injuries sustained in the crash, but she did not survive.
The road is currently closed to allow for a technical examination.
Gardaí have appealed to any road users who may have camera from the area around the time of the crash to make this footage available.
