The Criminal Assets Bureau raided three residential addresses, a mobile home and a business premises this morning.

The searches, targeting an organised crime group, were conducted in Dublin, Louth, Meath and Wexford.

A total of €19,000 cash, a Volkswagen Passat, documents and electronic devices were seized.

Designer goods including a number of Chanel and Louis Vuitton Handbags and a Rolex watch were also taken.

The Customs Dog Unit assisted CAB in the operation.

Gardaí described the operation as a "significant development in an ongoing process of crime investigation targeting assets, including property assets accumulated by an individual directly involved in an organised crime group operating within this jurisdiction and internationally".
