The latest homeless figures show a continuing slight decline in the number of people in emergency accommodation.
The total number in February was 8,238 men, women and children, which is a decrease of 75 on the previous month - 13 fewer adults and 62 fewer children than January.
The Department of Housing has said the year-on-year comparison shows 1,910 fewer people who are homeless or a reduction of just under 19%.
Homelessness among single people remains "persistently high", according to the department's statement and another increase of 33 was reported adding to the highest-ever level recorded in January.
However, in Dublin there was a marginal decrease of eight among single people.
