A host of events are taking place over the next few days to celebrate the Chinese New Year.
Buildings across Dublin have been lit up in red this weekend to mark the start of the Year of the Ox.
Two online festivals are also taking place here which feature musical performances, cookery demonstrations, and children's workshops.
The Year of the Ox promises to bring career advancement, success in business, prosperity, and wellness for all zodiac signs.
The 2021 Dublin Chinese Lunar New Year festival got under way earlier this week.
It includes more than 30 online events online.
The festival which is now in its 13th year in Dublin, runs until Sunday 14 February.
The annual Hill Street Family Resource Centre Chinese New Year Community Celebration will take place virtually this year.
The free family-friendly festival will feature a range of online activities and workshops, created and presented by the families of Hill Street and the local community.
The event in partnership with the North East Inner City Initiative and supported by Dublin City Council, is running from 12 to 26 February.
