The programmes will develop team leaders and upskill workers in supervisory management roles.

Both schemes, announced by the Irish Hotels Federation and Minister for Higher Education Simon Harris, are free of charge and begin next Month.

They were developed in conjunction with further education bodies, including SOLAS and the Education and Training Board, and seek to provide training to people who have been temporarily laid-off due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
