A 49-year-old woman who was injured in an assault near Dublin's IFSC last month has died.
Urantsetseg Tserendorj, a mother of two children, was originally from Mongolia and had been living in Dublin for a number of years, where she worked as a cleaner.
She was walking home from work in the IFSC and was just minutes from her home in the north inner city when she was the victim of a robbery at around 9.30pm on Wednesday, 20 January.
During the incident, which happened on a pedestrian walkway between George's Dock and Custom House Quay, she suffered injuries to her neck and was taken to the Mater Hospital in a serious condition.
A 14-year-old boy was arrested and detained at Store Street Garda Station and later appeared in court charged in connection with the incident.
The boy, who cannot be named because of his age, was charged with assault causing harm, possession of a knife and attempted robbery.
He was remanded in custody to Oberstown Detention Centre and a psychiatric evaluation was agreed to by the judge.
Gardaí said they are awaiting the outcome of a post-mortem examination to determine the course of further investigations in the case.
