EU Commissioner Phil Hogan has denied breaching Covid-19 quarantine rules when he returned to Ireland earlier this month.
In an interview with RTÉ News, he apologised once again for attending the Oireachtas golf dinner in Clifden.
But he repeatedly argued that the fact that he tested negative for Covid-19 exempted him from the requirement to restrict movements for 14 days.
