Gardaí are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at a premises on Grange Road, Baldoyle in north Co Dublin earlier today at approximately 4:30pm.
Two men entered the premises armed with what was believed to be a firearm and threatened staff.
They left the premises with a sum of money and jumped into a grey coloured car.
Gardaí responded and observed a vehicle leaving the scene.
A managed containment pursuit operation was carried out which concluded when the car crashed on Priorswood Road in Dublin 17.
No persons were injured during the robbery or pursuit. Gardaí seized a firearm as well as cash from the robbery.
A 26-year-old man has been arrested and is being held at Raheny Garda Station.
An Garda Síochana said their investigations are ongoing.
