A number of streets in Dublin city centre will be pedestrianised today and tomorrow as part a trial that is set to run for the next four weekends.
No traffic will be allowed on streets in and around Grafton Street, including South Anne Street, Drury street and South William Street, from 11am to 7pm today and tomorrow.
Efforts are underway to attract more customers into Dublin city centre after a dramatic drop in footfall due to the pandemic. A number of streets have been pedestrianised today and tomorrow as part a trial which is set to run for the next four weekends. pic.twitter.com/TAkQSl1gTc

Dublin City Council said the measures were being taken to support the economic recovery of the city.
