The body of a man has been found in a burning car in Co Dublin, this evening.
The discovery was made on Mount Andrew Rise in Lucan at around 8.15pm.
Emergency services were called to a car on fire on the street and after extinguishing the blaze, the body of the man was found in the passenger seat.
Gardaí suspect that he may have been shot.
The scene has been preserved for a technical examination and the State Pathologist's Office and Garda Forensics Bureau have been informed.
