Two men in their 20s have been arrested in connection with the murder of Peter Murphy in Co Cork in 2015.
The 37-year-old's body was discovered at Shanavoher, Bweeng, on 7 February 2015.
A post-mortem examination determined that Mr Murphy's injuries were inflicted as a result of an assault.
He was last seen alive at his home at around 2.30pm on Thursday, 5 February 2015, two days before his body was found.
Supt William Duane said: "Gardaí continue to investigate the murder of Peter Murphy at his home in Shanavoher.
"We would like to thank the members of the community for their assistance to date but we are still appealing for anyone with information to come forward."
