A man in his 50s has died following an alleged assault in Foigha, Co Longford last Thursday.
The man was taken to the Midlands Regional Hospital, Mullingar, with serious injuries after the incident outside a pub, but was pronounced dead this afternoon.
A man in his 30s been charged in relation to the incident.
