A man in his 70s has been killed in a farm accident in Co Waterford.
It happened on land in the Ferrybank area at 10am this morning.
It is understood the man suffered fatal injuries while emptying a septic tank and was pronounced dead at the scene.
His body was taken to University Hospital Waterford where a post mortem will be carried out.
The Health and Safety Authority is to investigate the incident.
