The Department of Foreign Affairs has said it is aware of the case of a missing Irish man in Malaysia and is providing consular assistance to his family.
It is reported that the Stephen Warde from Kinvara in Co Galway arrived in the country alone on 15 November and has not been in contact with his family since 1 January this year.

Online appeals have been made for help in finding the 32-year-old man.
His mother has travelled to the country to look for him.
