A woman in her 60s has been killed in a road collision in Co Leitrim.
She was the driver of a car that crashed on the Castlecara Road in Carrick-on-Shannon shortly after midday today.
No other vehicle was involved.
The woman’s body has been taken to University Hospital Sligo where a post-mortem examination will be carried out.
The road remains closed and local diversions are in place.
