Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to a hit-and-run incident in Dublin in which two elderly pedestrians were injured.
Two men, both aged in their 80s, were struck by a motorcycle on Swords Road in Santry on Wednesday evening at around 9.40pm.
The incident happened on the city-bound side of the road close to Morton Stadium.
Both men were taken to hospital where one of them remains in a serious but stable condition.
The other man received minor injuries.
Gardaí have appealed for anybody who may have witnessed the incident, and any Taxi drivers or other motorists who travelled along the road and who may have dash-cam footage, to contact Santry Garda Station on 01 666 4000.
