A man in his 80s has been killed in a road crash in Co Cork.
He was the driver of a car that crashed on the M8 at Sallybrook, Glanmire at around 2.50pm.
There was no other vehicle involved.
A woman in her 80s, who was a passenger on the car, was injured and has been taken to Cork University Hospital for treatment.
Her injuries are described as non life-threatening.
