Taoiseach Leo Varadkar has visited one of the most prestigious cultural institutions in the world, the Venice Biennale in Italy.
The biggest event in the international architectural calendar has been curated this year by two Irish women.
Yvonne Farrell and Shelley McNamara, from Grafton Architects in Dublin, gave Mr Varadkar a guided tour of the exhibition, which is titled FREESPACE.
It is the first time in the event's history that Irish architects have been invited to curate the exhibition.
