A man in his early 50s has died in a farm accident in Co Mayo.
It happened earlier today on lands at Clogher near Claremorris.
It is understood he was making silage when the incident occurred.
He was taken to Mayo University Hospital where he has pronounced dead.
Gardaí and the Health and Safety Authority have launched separate investigations into the circumstances of the man's death.
