Facebook use here has remained steady in the wake of the Cambridge Analytica affair.
According to the latest data from the Ipsos MRBI Social Network Tracker for the period from November to March, 66% of adults in Ireland here had a Facebook account.
That's up 1% on the previous quarter and means 1.7 million adults are members of the app.
The percentage of users accessing the social network every day during the period also remained solid at 69%.
This is despite a number of online campaigns aimed at getting users to delete their Facebook accounts as a result of the revelations that user data was harvested by a third party app and passed to the UK political consultancy.
Use of Facebook Messenger also rose during the period according to the Ipsos MRBI Social Messaging Tracker.
The messaging app saw the percentage of account owners in Ireland increase from 57% to 59%, while the percentage of people using it daily rose 4% to 49%.
Instagram, which is also owned by Facebook, also saw a marked increase in users here.
Account ownership rose by 2% to 34%, while the percentage of daily users of the photo and video sharing platform in Ireland climbed 7%.
Daily usage of Facebook owned WhatsApp also jumped between November and March by 6% to 69%.
Snapchat, on the other hand saw no increase in the number of accounts here and the percentage of users accessing it daily fell 2% to 64%.
Twitter saw the number of Irish accounts rise 1% but daily usage fell by 1%.
