Three people were taken to hospital following a collision on the N4 in Co Westmeath.
The two car crash happened at Junction 17 west of Mullingar this afternoon.
One person was airlifted to Tallaght Hospital, while two others were taken by ambulance to the Midland Regional Hospital in Mullingar for treatment.
The N4 was closed in both directions for a time this afternoon, but has since reopened.
