Today is the last day for posting cards and parcels by regular post to be sure of delivery in Ireland before Christmas.
An Post advises customers to wrap all parcels carefully, use strong paper and lots of tape, and always include a return address.
It says that final deliveries nationwide are Saturday, with services resuming on 28 December.
