Search launched for Irish woman missing in France

A search has been launched for an Irish woman in her 20s who has gone missing in the south-east of France.

Eimear Noonan, a teacher from Clare, was last seen on Wednesday afternoon.

She lives in the town of Annonay, about 75kms south of Lyon.

Relatives have posted appeals for information on social media.

The Department of Foreign Affairs is providing consular assistance to Ms Noonan's family.
