An investigation is under way into the circumstances surrounding the publication of lewd photographs following a hurling final in Co Kilkenny.
The images circulated on social media in the days after St Patrick's GAA club in Ballyragget won the Kilkenny Intermediate Hurling final.
Gardaí say that while they have not received a complaint about the incident, they will be looking to speak to people who were there when the images were taken.
Kilkenny County Board is also investigating the images, which also show the intermediate hurling trophy.
