A man in his 80s has died following a house fire in Buttevant, Co Cork.
Emergency services were alerted to the blaze in the early hours of this morning.
The man was taken from the house, but was later pronounced dead.

A man in his 40s was rescued from the house. He was taken by ambulance to Cork University Hospital, but his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
The house has been sealed off and a technical examination is to be carried out.
