Gardaí have confirmed that they are investigating an alleged sexual assault at a nightclub in Dublin last Saturday.
It is reported that the assault happened in a private room in a VIP area of the Wright Venue nightclub in Swords.
Security staff were monitoring CCTV images and intervened when they believed that a young woman was being sexually assaulted.
Two men, aged 20 and 21, were arrested and questioned at Coolock Garda Station.
A file is to be sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions.
The Wright Venue said it can not make any comment on the alleged incident as it is the subject of an ongoing garda investigation.
