A young boy and three motorcyclists have died following a series of road crashes in Limerick and Dublin.
In Dublin, a six-year-old boy who was knocked down and seriously injured on Friday evening died today, gardaí said.
The incident occurred at around 4.45pm on the Shanganagh Road in Shankill, Co Dublin, near the Hazelwood estate.
A white van, travelling in the direction of Shankill Village was involved in the collision.

The boy was taken to Temple Street Hospital on Friday, but he died today.
In Limerick city, a man in his 50s died after his motorcycle struck a roundabout.
The crash happened at Quinn's Cross in Mungret at around 7.30pm yesterday evening.
He was treated at the scene by emergency services and taken by ambulance to University Hospital Limerick where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
In a separate incident in Limerick, a man in his 20s died after his motorcycle was involved in a collision at Southill in Limerick (below) around 7.40pm yesterday.
The scene is being examined by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and gardaí are appealing for witnesses.
And in Dublin, a man died in a motorcycle crash which also left a passenger seriously injured.
The incident happened at around 2.20am this morning on the Old Cabra Road.
The man, who was in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene, while the passenger, a man in his 40s, was taken to the Mater Hospital.

The Road Safety Authority has issued an appeal for motorcyclists to take extra care on the roads following the spate of motorbike deaths over the weekend.
Motorcyclists are at greater risk of being involved in a crash over the summer months, according to the Road Safety Authority.
The RSA has also appealed for drivers to be on the lookout for motorcyclists on the road.
