Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has arrived in Ireland at the start of a three-day visit, which is limited to Dublin.
Mr Trudeau will meet President Michael D Higgins at Áras an Uachtaráin tomorrow, and he will also meet Taoiseach Leo Varadkar at Farmleigh in the morning.
The visit comes ahead of a G20 summit in Germany, where a proposed trade deal between Canada and the EU and Brexit will be high on the agenda.
Trade unions, farmers and environmental groups held a press conference in Dublin this morning to voice their concerns over the proposed deal - the EU Canadian Comprehensive and Economic Trade Agreement.
The European Parliament has voted to accept the deal but it also needs the approval of member state national parliaments to fully come into effect.
