London fog leads to flight disruption

A total of 14 flights between Dublin and London have been cancelled today due to freezing fog in London.

Dublin Airport has urged passengers to check with their airline for latest flight information.

Two flights from Cork to London and two from London to Cork have also been cancelled due to the poor weather.

Visibility at Heathrow, Gatwick, London City Airport and Stansted airports is about 100 metres.

Dense fog is threatening to cause travel disruption across southern England.

The Met Office issued a severe weather warning for London, southeast England and parts of southwest England.
