A man in his 70s has died in a house fire in Clonroche, Co Wexford, this morning.
Neighbours alerted emergency services to the blaze around 9am.
The man was alone in the house at the time and efforts to rescue him were unsuccessful.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The property has been sealed off while a garda technical examination is being carried out.
