A cyclist in his thirties has died in a crash in Co Kerry. 

The man was among a group of cyclists when he was involved in a collision with a car on the N22 at Scart, Farranfore, at 11.15am this morning.

He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was removed to Kerry General Hospital in Tralee for a post mortem.

The driver and passenger of the car were uninjured.

The road was closed for a time but has since re-opened after gardaí conducted a forensic crash examination of the scene.
