A 19-year-old forklift operator has died in an industrial incident at a pallet company in Co Cork.
The emergency services responded to a call at the premises of Palfab Limited, in Lissarda, near Macroom just after 11am.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
It is understood the incident happened as the forklift driver was moving steel.
Both the gardai and the Health and Safety Authority are carrying out separate investigations into the circumstances surrounding the man's death.
