The former Anglo Irish Bank CEO David Drumm has been arrested in the United States.
US Marshalls arrested him in Massachusetts on Saturday afternoon on foot of an extradition warrant.
The Government here had requested his extradition from the US earlier this year to face proceedings in Ireland.
He will remain in custody pending a court hearing in Boston on Tuesday.
