The report by a senior counsel into whistleblower allegations over the banking inquiry has been completed.
An Oireachtas spokesperson confirmed the review by senior Senan Allen was given to the Acting Clerk of the Dáil today and legal advice is now being sought on publishing it.
Banking inquiry member Fianna Fáil Senator Marc McSharry said it should be published immediately and he restated that what he called a full arms length process should take place with all parties interviewed.
Meanwhile, it is understood further whistleblower allegations have been made.
