A fire at the Gaiety Theatre in Dublin city centre was brought under control by Dublin Fire Brigade yesterday evening.
The alarm was raised around 5.20pm.
Five units attended the scene on South King St, with initial reports suggesting the fire was in the basement of the building.
The building was evacuated and the immediate area around the theatre was sealed off as multiple fire engines and a turntable ladder brought the blaze under control.
There is no detail as to the extent of any damage caused by the fire.
Operations wound down around 7pm and there were no reports of any injuries.
