Water supply affected in parts of Dublin due to Luas operations

Certain parts of Dublin will be affected by a reduction in water pressure and possibly temporary water loss over the next 26 hours while Luas operators install a connection to facilitate the Luas Cross City Line. 

The disruption began at 10pm this evening and is expected to last until midnight on Sunday.

The areas likely to be affected are Cabra, Phibsboro, Glasnevin, Drumcondra, Whitehall, Marino, Santry, Beaumont, Donnycarney and Artane.

Dublin City Council will make a number of water tankers available on Sunday.
