A new opinion poll in today's Irish Times suggests satisfaction with the Government is at its highest level in four years.

The Ipsos MRBI poll suggests that satisfaction with the Government is up five points to 30%, the highest rating for the Coalition since October 2011.

The poll also suggests that when undecided voters are excluded, support for Fine Gael is 28% - up four points, while Labour is unchanged at 7%.

Fianna Fáil is up three points at 20%, Sinn Féin is down three points at 21%; while Independents and Others are at 24% - down four points.

The poll, taken last Wednesday and Thursday, surveyed 1,200 voters across the country.
