There were joyful scenes at Dublin Airport today as 181 troops returned following a six month tour in Lebanon.
The troops, all members of the 47th Infantry Group, touched down just after 10.30am.
A large crowd of family members gathered in the arrivals area of Dublin Airport to greet the soldiers.
They were deployed to Lebanon in mid-November and had operated on the ground as part of the Finnish, Irish battalion.
