The latest addition to the RTÉ family arrived today, when ducklings hatched on the roof garden of the television centre.
Viewers of Nestwatch, associated with RTÉ's Mooney Goes Wild, have been watching a female mallard duck which laid approximately six eggs in a large plant pot in the garden.

Wildlife expert and radio presenter Derek Mooney predicted that the eggs would hatch tomorrow, just ten days after they were first discovered, but some of the ducklings made their arrival today.
It could take up to 24 hours for all of the eggs to fully hatch.
The ducklings will remain in the nest with their mother for up to ten hours after their birth, before being led to water.
Mallard ducks are the most common ducks in Ireland and are a familiar sight in parks, lakes and canals throughout the country.
