Irish author Colum McCann is one of ten writers shortlisted for the 2015 International IMPAC Dublin Literary Award.
McCann, who won the award in 2011 for his book ‘Let the Great World Spin’ is short-listed for his novel 'Transatlantic'.
The €100,000 prize is open to novels published in English and translated into English, and is sponsored by Dublin City Council.
This year's shortlist includes last year's Man Booker Prize winner ‘The Narrow Road to the Deep North’ by Richard Flanagan. Other authors on the shortlist are from Nigeria, the US, Britain, Australia, Brazil, Morocco and Russia.
The prize winner, which is the world's most valuable annual literary prize for a single work of fiction published in English, will be announced on 17 June.
