Police in Northern Ireland are dealing with four security alerts.

An ongoing alert in Lurgan Co Armagh has disrupted rail services between Belfast and Dublin.

Bus transfers have been in operation between Newry and Belfast since 7pm last night.

In north Belfast homes have been evacuated in the area around North Queen Street and Great George's Street, due to the discovery of a suspicious object there.

While in south Belfast Friendly Street is also closed following the discovery of suspicious object. 

In a separate incident in west Belfast, the PSNI say they are investigating an explosion under a parked car. 

Residents living nearby have been asked to leave their homes.
