Hundreds of homes and businesses were without power today due to stormy conditions overnight but power has now been restored in most areas.
Earlier, some ferries between Dublin and Holyhead were cancelled as a result of the inclement conditions.
The majority of those affected were along the west coast of Ireland.
ESB Networks have said that areas experiencing outages have got power again.
Foxford in Co Mayo remains without power and efforts are underway to repair power shortages.
Speaking to RTÉ News, a spokesperson for ESB Networks said efforts were underway from sunrise to repair power shortages as quickly as possible.
