The Department of Social Protection has said it regrets the inconvenience caused to 23,000 customers regarding the earlier than planned deduction of Local Property Tax from their double payment week.
The department said this was due to a technical error.
It said, as compensation, the customers affected will not have one week's property tax deducted from their payment in early 2015.
