A crowd of about 100 Aer Lingus pensioners have taken part in a protest outside the home of Minister for Transport Paschal Donohoe in Dublin.

They were protesting against a proposed cut in their defined benefit pension scheme, which they say the Minister should not sanction.

The crowd carried placards and shouted slogans for about an hour in the street outside Mr Donohoe's house in Phibsboro.

Gardaí were at the scene but there were no incidents.
